  • Mark and Sue Holmes

    Mark and Sue Holmes

    Position within Prokit Team: Owners

Mark & Sue, have been happily married since 1979, are proud parents of Oliver & Ben, have been business partners since 1989, and are still best friends!

As the owners of Prokit we take tremendous pride in the quality of service our team provides for our clients. Lessons we learnt from our background in the service sector, notably hotels, remains paramount to us. When we started the company we began as a traditional marketing and distribution organisation for leading manufacturers including Lee Filters, for whom Mark had worked. We grew to form partnerships with many companies who are still with us today. Lowel, Chimera, Wally Dolly, to name but a few. We are delighted with other long-term relationships such as those with Miller, Century Optics, Dedo, Arri, Sennheiser, BandPro, Kobold, and so many more. All have helped us grow and earn a reputation for which we are so grateful.

Many of our regular visitors to the showroom know that we are keen travellers. Our adventures around the world over the years have included many parts of the USA, much of Europe, the Middle East, Far East and Australia. Some trips have been on a motorcycle, placing us even closer to the sights, sounds and smells as we pass through. It allows us to indulge our passion for people, places, history, food, and developing a greater understanding of the world.

We are Fellows of the Royal Geographical Society, members of Chelsea Football Club, and alumni of Cranfield Business School.
