Thousands of runners of all abilities headed to The Mall on the Bank Holiday weekend to compete in the prestigious Bupa Westminster Mile.

The day of competition boasts events for elite athletes, juniors and wheelchair users, and is organised by the London Marathon and Westminster City Council.

Prokit regular and director/ lighting cameraman, Chris DuMont, was at the Bank Holiday event equipped with the Sony A7S and Canon 16-35mm 2.8 Zoom lens with a Tiffen variable ND filter.

To get the perfect shots Chris used the Ronin gimbal system by DJI, plus an Odyssey 7Q monitor attached to a Noga precision-engineered positioning arm.

Britain’s Adam Clarke and steeplechaser, Racheal Bamford took home the winning medals in the elite athletes category during the event.

In addition, six-time Paralympic gold medallist, David Weir broke the wheelchair world road mile record after a hat-trick of victories at the Westminster Mile.

All of the kit Chris used on the day is available to order from our online store. But you can also pop into our Chiswick showroom to get hands-on with some of the equipment for yourself. You might even see Chris wandering around…
