Remember that First and Final Frames supercut from earlier on in the year? Well it's now got a sequel, or Part II if you like.

Put together by editor and filmmaker, Jacob Swinney, First and Final Frames includes the opening and closing shots of 55 varied films. Part II uses imagery from 70 films.

According to the supercutter the chosen shots show, "progress, some show decline, and some are simply impactful images used to begin and end a film."

He adds: "The side-by-side comparison can communicate an entire story, but also allows us to develop new theories about a given film."

Watch First and Final Frames Part II NOW. And if you haven't seen the first part, well watch that too...
