Canon today announced the highly anticipated successor to the popular 5D Mark II. The 5D Mark III builds upon the established feature set of the Mark II, whilst offering a whole host of new features for stills photogrpahers and budding cinematographers.
The newly designed 22.3 Megapixel full frame sensor offers stills recording up to 6 FPS, and HD movie capability with unsurpassable depth of field control.
The aid video recording, Canon have announced a greater range of manual controls, allowing you access to previously restricted audio and video functions. In addition to this the camera features an enhanced range of high bit-rate compression options, including Intraframe and Interframe codecs. Variable frame rates from 24FPS to 60FPS, and SMTPE timecode provides editing flexibility, and greater creative control.
